However, Red River Real Estate then bent over backwards and found us new lodgings within 15 minutes that had more beds and even more space! #NA due to Covid, but again, the process of renting, check in/check out couldn't have been easier. My husband and I are NM locals and visit Red River frequently. It's just the two of us, and our little fur babies so we don't require much, but Knotty and Nice was the PERFECT space and our new favorite for our future visits!! We absolutely loved it.

Always great! On one of years past trips up north, we were planning on pulling our RV up. We were 5 minutes on the interstate when every bell and whistle in our truck was lit up - transmission was going down. We turned around and headed home devastated. But got in my phone contacts, pulled Red River up and within 20 minutes had a reservation at one of the A frames. Unloaded food and clothes into my SUV and it was Family Trip Take 2, thank to you guys at Red River!! You made arrangements for us to pick up keys after hours since it was a 6 hour drive for us and a late start, recommended a good place to eat after arriving, and even left us coffee for a good wake up in the am. A+++ Service every time weve come up! Fresh air, rain, river sounds, deer, squirrels galore, soaring eagles, beautiful property, spacious, parents upstairs, teenaged kids downstairs, full kitchen, dining space, comfy cozy living room with over stuffed leather couch to sink into with a blanket and fire going, HUGE bay windows to watch the river and forest life, large wide balcony/veranda to sit on to enjoy the peace and quiet, feet dipped into the river while imaging 100+degree heat back home (suckers!!!),WiFi for work (NOT). Guaranteed to make you consider selling all possessions back home and staying put! 🙂

Everyone was very friendly and more than happy to make our vacation the best it could be. We had an issue with the first cabin we stayed in that had to be resolved without us there, and we were immediately placed In not only another cabin but in an upgraded cabin. We truly appreciated being taken care of so well and had an amazing vacation! Moon River is breathe taking to say the least! The location on the river is the best we have stayed at thus far and we have vacationed in Red River for over twenty years and stayed at many cabins. You can hear the river from any room in the cabin. The hot tub was great and just what we needed after a day of hiking. The cabin itself is beautiful and the porchs are amazing! The car port is great as well if you are taking jeeps and dont want to have to cover them or put your windows back on if its raining. Its secluded and perfect for any stay! We truly hope to get to stay there again!

The Knotty and Nice cabin is in such a great location - just off the main road, yet very quiet and peaceful. Contact was minimal due to the efficiency of the online reservation system; we did receive a friendly phone call to verify a modification in our reservation; and, the check-in process was pleasant. We were made to feel that if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask! Checkout procedure via the door code entry made our departure morning much less rushed! This was just the most recent of many stays in RR Real Estate properties, and the second in the Artz cabin. It's larger that we really need, but the off-season rate was good and we love all the space.

We were on a spur of the moment road trip and had driven from Taos hoping to check out a couple properties I had found on Airbnb. The real estate office was open and accommodated us by rushing a clean-up and letting us check in late Sunday afternoon. We really appreciated their efforts. The property sits literally ON THE RIVER! I will note that one other property that met my criteria was listed as BY the River and ended up being across Main Street! Thankfully, the real estate office was open on Sunday afternoon and we were moved in in less than 2 hours to the perfect location. 5 minute walk to downtown, wildlife galore, good fishing and the weather was perfect for our stay. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed.

It has plenty of room for relaxing downstairs - and plenty of comfortable sleeping areas. The dcor is tastefully done and not overwhelming. It feels like a home instead of a rental. Super convenient location. Every area of the property is well taken care of. The bathrooms are nice, and the water pressure in the showers is perfect. Everyone that I talked to on the phone from day one to book the cabin, to calling with question before, to checking in our next morning since we were a late arrival were all very friendly and pleasant. And unlike other property companies I have dealt with in the past in Red River, I could actually get someone on the phone when I called. We loved this little cabin and would definitely stay in it again. We have stayed in condos and the like in Red River over the years, but really enjoyed being a little bit away from town. Cabin was well equipment, clean and cozy. We look forward to coming back!

Tori was one of the friendliest and upbeat persons I have encountered. I enjoyed her enthusiasm. Enjoyed our stay in this cabin. I think it would be great if the owners could add satellite tv service. Netflix was ok but a problem to work. Better curtains, chairs for outside and a better large frypan would help. Best part? Loved the bathroom and tub. We would rent this unit again.

Everyone was super nice! We even had to call them after we left because a ring was left in the house. They went right over & found the ring & are shipping it to us. Thank goodness there is still honest people! Thanks!! Plenty of room for our group at Arnolds River Retreat. We liked that it was just west of town & we could ride our ranger to the trails.

Also even though the staff was very busy when we stopped by, Julie was patient in helping us look up property for summer 2019 to stay at. Loved our stay at Karlins Ranch. There is nothing that we needed to make any better.

It was a road we would have traveled and do appreciate the extra time you took to provide the updates and keep us posted to the travel conditions. Our stay was lovely and very relaxing. We come to Red River to get away from the rush of the city and the heat in Texas and enjoy the majestic beauty found in the mountains. The local people of Red River always make us feel welcome and that is much appreciated on our part. I have personally been coming to Red River since I was a teenager, years ago and never tire of the beauty of the area or the town itself. It is a great place for families to get together. We enjoyed working with you and look forward to returning in the future.

I loved getting text messages asking how our stay was going and also updating us on road conditions. Seemed more personable. It was perfect. Our second year at this cabin which accommodates kids, grands and great grands. We try to take care of the cabin as if it were ours.

Very efficient overall in how the rental is handled, and very easy to communicate with the rental team. We and all of our guests (5 adults, 4 children) were very impressed with the beauty and accommodations of the property. We're very grateful to the owners for renting it out. The location was also perfect for us, we like a little space and privacy and a view.

From booking to checking out, they are the most friendly and helpful team you could ask for. The best! This cabin was perfect for me and my 3 boys (almost 17, 16 & 10) as well as my parents (70). Location was amazing. We were close to Main Street and also lots of great fishing. I only wish we could have had two weeks instead of only one. This Mom says thank you for precious memories!!
