Nestled on a rustic lot in Taos Ski Valley with 360-degree views and the sound of a gentle river just outside, Riverside Retreat 7 at Taos East is a modern retreat with space for kids to play outside and adults to revel in year-round recreation, from skiing to fly-fishing.

Newly renovated with stylish furniture, plush mattresses and high thread-count bedding, the two-level condo combines a feeling of escape with modern luxuries.

On the ground floor, an open living and dining area creates a feeling of connectivity with the outside as light streams through picture windows, showcasing river, mountain and nature views. Sliding glass doors open the 8-seat dining area to a naturally landscaped yard set against the mountain.

The living area is defined by multiple, cozy sitting areas. Lounge on the full-length couch, which doubles as a queen sleeper sofa, to watch the wall-mounted TV, or curl up on the loveseat tucked into an alcove. A window seat overlooking the wooded grounds outside is the perfect size for a young reader. Fur pillows and cozy knit throw blankets, combined with the log accents and hardwood floors, evoke the feeling of a rustic Swiss chalet.

Steps away, a well-supplied galley kitchen, complete with copper cups for Moscow Mules, has everything you need to add spirited drinks or cocoa and comfort food to a day inside.

The ground level also features the Southwestern-inspired guest primary suite, which features a queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV and charming writing desk.

Just upstairs are the remaining three bedrooms. The primary suite, decorated in a New England cottage style, has a four-post California king bed. A luxurious en-suite bath features a Kohler extra-deep soaking tub, one of two in the condo.

The kid-friendly third bedroom has a full-over-full bunk bed with two large bean bag chairs and an in-room sink. The fourth bedroom, styled as a playroom with a large, wall-mounted TV, has a queen daybed.

The upper level also features a quaint studio kitchen with a microwave, small refrigerator and Keurig coffee machine. A private washer and dryer adds convenience. Please be advised that this home does not have air conditioning.

Outside, adventure awaits with Taos Ski Valley just four miles away, the Hondo River steps from your front door, and a network of nature trails awaiting exploration. Take in the views from your furnished sundeck, spend an afternoon fly fishing, or simply stroll to the bank to listen to the sounds of the river.

Take advantage of parking at your front door to easily access the world-class skiing at Taos or to explore the fine art meccas of Arroyo Seco, Taos and Santa Fe, all within a day’s drive.

House Rules

Guests must be at least 21 years old and provide proof of age upon request. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or party.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM; however, during peak seasons, a 4:00 PM check-in is not guaranteed. Guests will receive a text and email once the property is ready. Please do not enter the property or park outside the unit before receiving check-in approval. Unauthorized early access will result in a $200 fee.

Check-out is no later than 10:00 AM. Refunds are not provided for early departures. Early or late check-in/check-out may be available with advance approval and may incur a fee equal to one-half night’s rent.

A valid credit card is required at check-in for damages or missing items. Guests have 12 hours after arrival to report any issues with the property.

A cleaning fee applies to all reservations. Guests must wash dishes and remove trash to avoid an additional cleaning fee.

Pets are only allowed in designated pet-friendly units with prior approval. Unauthorized pets will result in a $500 fee per pet, possible cleaning or repair charges, and immediate eviction without refund. Pet-friendly units allow a maximum of two pets. Pets must be kenneled when unattended, and guests must clean up after them or incur a $100 fee.

Smoking is prohibited inside all properties. Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $500 fine.

Maximum occupancy limits, including children and infants, must be followed at all times. Temporary sleeping arrangements such as air mattresses or cots are not permitted.

House parties, firearms, fireworks, excessive noise, trespassing, parking outside designated areas, and operating ATVs or off-road vehicles on private land are strictly prohibited. Violations may result in fines, eviction, and forfeiture of all monies paid.

Some properties may require snow chains or four-wheel drive during winter conditions, and guests are responsible for proper transportation. RV parking is prohibited at all properties.

M Vacation Properties and Resorts reserves the right to enter the property when necessary for repairs, maintenance, occupancy verification, or emergencies. While we make every effort to maintain all amenities, we cannot guarantee against interruptions or mechanical failures involving Wi-Fi, satellite, heating, hot tubs, TVs, or appliances. 1-800-453-3498 Opt 3

In rare circumstances, guests may be relocated to a comparable property due to maintenance issues, property sales, or unforeseen events. Relocation does not qualify for refunds or credits.

Trash in hot tubs will result in a $100 fee. Oil fryers are prohibited and carry a $500 fine. EV charging is prohibited unless the property specifically offers an EV charger; violations will result in a $100 fee.

Wi-Fi and satellite services are complimentary amenities and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for items left behind after departure.
