Dream Catcher is a spacious three-bedroom, three-bathroom two-story home located at the west end of town and positioned across a parking lot from the river. The home is pet friendly and the owners invite you to bring your furry friends to complete your dream vacation. DC has easy access to the house as only one step onto the deck is required for entrance through the front door. Once inside, the house opens into the combined living and dining room, both of which are extremely roomy so that guests do not feel crowded. In the living room is a wet bar complete with wine glasses, a wood-burning fire stove, two recliners, a love seat, a reclining love seat, a sofa, and a large flat-screen TV with a DVD player, giving visitors the option of watching satellite or movies brought from home. Dream Catcher provides free Wi-Fi so that guests’ personal streaming accounts are accessible for use during their stay. In the dining area is a table that seats ten and a bar with two bar-height stools. The kitchen is large with ample counter space, cabinets filled with cooking utensils, dishes, crock pots, and pans, and room for several people to maneuver at a time. Completing the first-floor living area is a half bath and a utility room with a washer and dryer, shower, and sink.

Bedroom areas are located on both the first and second floors to accommodate all sleeping needs. The newly renovated master bedroom is downstairs, closed from the living area with a beautiful rustic barn door. It is equipped with a king bed, a sitting area, a sofa/fold out queen bed, and a large flat-screen TV, with a bath just across the hall. Upstairs are two bedrooms. At the top of the stairs is a bedroom with windows opening to the sound of the running river. It is furnished with a queen bed, reading area, private bathroom with shower and tub, and a flat-screen TV. The other bedroom upstairs is the largest and is outfitted as the “bunk” room, making way for up to 9 persons sharing the space: two queen beds, one bunk bed with a full bottom bunk and twin upper bunk, and a fold-out queen sofa sleeper. This bedroom also has a flat-screen TV, an over-sized closet, and an over-sized bathroom with double sinks, and a separate bath and shower.

Dream Catcher is an amazing home highlighted with the mountain-facing front deck and yard. Guests spend hours on the porch, gazing at the mountains, listening to the rush of the river, reading, watching people fish, relaxing, and enjoying time in the peaceful Sangre de Cristo Mountain setting. Complete with a gas BBQ grill (gas cylinder provided courtesy of the owners), cooking and dining on the deck add to the total ambiance of Dream Catcher.

Only had to talk to the members twice

Only had to talk to the members twice. One to say my daughter would be the one to get the code to get into the house because I wasn't going to make it in time....and once to ask about how this COVID thing was affecting things. Both questions were answered and in a very professional and down to earth reply. Love the whole staff! They were awesome in dealing with my circumstances. The Dream Catcher is a must stay in Red River, NM plenty of room for up to 12 comfortably. I know the site says 15, but possibly a bit cramped if more than 3 needed to use the bathroom all at once. It is just past town but still less than 1/4 mile from starting the in-town shopping and eating. And if ya cant make that long of a walk, call the red trolley....they'll be happy to come get ya and take ya wherever ya wanna go.

Team was extremely helpful.. got more fire wood, and a little later check out time. Really appreciated that fact. Of course we understand that was only posdible because next vacationer did not arrive until next day. Our family loved our stay at Dream Catcher. It was perfect for us! 2 oldest grandsons learned to ski and there are 4 more who will want to have that experience as they get older. We celebrated our 44 wedding anniversary with our whole family!! My family and I have been coming to Red River & Angel Fire starting in 1980. For the past 15 years we have only stayed in Red River and stayed in your properties 95% of time. We have always been given excellent treatment and 100% attention if a need came up. Thank you for doing such a fine job. Dream Catcher is perfect for our stay, it has a lot of room, great view, good parking, fishing is superb and it is pet friendly. We'll be back next year.
