Bear Hugs is the perfect cabin for small parties looking for a quiet place to be during their vacation. This cozy one bedroom, one bathroom cabin is located a couple of blocks off of the main street, so you are not too far from the action but still out enough to enjoy the mountain life! Even though this is only a one-bedroom home you still have plenty of room for the six people that it will sleep. When you walk through the front door you will enter the living room that features a small TV and DVD/VHS player that gives our guests the options of watching DVDs. This home does not provide cable, however, we do offer Netflix for you and your party to enjoy or movies brought from home! Bear Hugs has a sleeper sofa in the living room that can be folded out to make a queen bed. Joined with the living room are the cabin’s small kitchen and dining area.
In the one-bedroom, this home has you will find a queen bed with access to the hall bathroom that has a shower as well as a cute claw foot bathtub to enjoy a nice soak. Off of the living room and kitchen, there is a small sunroom that also doubles as a bedroom. This room has a futon that can be folded out for additional sleeping arrangements.
One of the best features of Bear Hugs is the large outdoor area that it offers for children to play. The yard is shared with Bear Run which is also a home that is managed by Red River Real Estate. Rent these two homes together to give you enough room to sleep 18 people between the two cabins.

Great Cabin

We love going to Red River for little getaways and this cabin is perfect!! It’s the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and love how close to everything in town it is. Check in is easy and loved how clean it was. Would definitely stay here again!!

Everyone that I talked to on the phone from day one to book the cabin, to calling with question before, to checking in our next morning since we were a late arrival were all very friendly and pleasant. And unlike other property companies I have dealt with in the past in Red River, I could actually get someone on the phone when I called. We loved this little cabin and would definitely stay in it again. We have stayed in condos and the like in Red River over the years, but really enjoyed being a little bit away from town. Cabin was well equipment, clean and cozy. We look forward to coming back!

Tori was one of the friendliest and upbeat persons I have encountered. I enjoyed her enthusiasm. Enjoyed our stay in this cabin. I think it would be great if the owners could add satellite tv service. Netflix was ok but a problem to work. Better curtains, chairs for outside and a better large frypan would help. Best part? Loved the bathroom and tub. We would rent this unit again.

Wendy worked so hard at getting the cable to work properly. She was patient, tenacious, and so helpful! She rocks! We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin! The property was close to Main Street so easy walking distance to anything we wanted. The cabin was so clean, updated, and beautiful! It seriously had the most comfortable futon and pull-out couch I have ever seen! The claw foot tub was awesome and easily fit all 3 kiddos!! We loved the fenced yard that allowed our kids to explore and enjoy nature. Overall it was a great cabin and experience. Highly recommend to all!
