At M Vacation Properties and Resorts, the health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees is our number one priority. To protect against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), our support systems are more important than ever.

Professional housekeeping


Updated housekeeping standards


Our professional local cleaning and maintenance teams have deployed enhanced cleaning procedures, in line with World Health Organization (WHO) and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommendations in our office and homes.
 

Use of bleach, ReJuvenal, Proper PPE and More

All employees of M locations are required to wear gloves, masks, long sleeve shirts. 


We are leveraging expanded cleaning measures, including sanitizing high-touch surfaces and introducing a 10% bleach-based cleaning solution, Rejuvenal hospital-grade cleaning solution, proper personal protective equipment, and hand sanitizer to our housekeeping supplies where available. Housekeepers are required to sanitize all hard surfaces with our bleach-based solution, all soft/cloth surfaces will be lightly sprayed with the Rujuvenal solution. We are doing our best to keep everything in stock, as supplies are fluctuating. All M Vacation Properties and Resorts locations will also implement Ozone disinfecting per unit and every comforter will be washed in between guests. Exterior decks and entryways will be cleaned with a bleach solution weekly and grills where applicable will be steam cleaned.  


Guest reservations

To minimize person-to-person contact, we have implemented a non-contact check-in policy. Each location will have a packet with your keys or code, a map, policies, and various promotional items that apply to each guest during their stay. All daily housekeeping if applicable is suspended until further notice. Locations that provide breakfast will also be suspended until further notice. Our restaurant facilities will utilize outdoor seating and food will be placed in to-go containers. Check with our partner, Tailored Stay, for a fee they will deliver all necessary food items to further ensure minimal contact. We will be also implementing a 24-hour block before and after each scheduled reservation for vacation rentals allowing our homes rest and be properly cleaned and sanitized. We are also asking our guests to remove all bedding, towels, and other linens and place them in laundry bags provided and leave by the front door.


In addition to serving our guests, we represent a local community and homeowners who depend on our consistent and reliable policies. We recognize that the current circumstances have a significant impact on everyone involved. Know that we have taken every step to adopt more flexible policies at this time.



Changing or canceling an upcoming trip

While our mission is to provide guests with exceptional vacation experiences, we understand that many other important factors might affect your decision about where and when you travel.


Your quickest option is to get the cost of your full reservation as credit for a future stay.  To do this please call us at your locations front desk reservationist. 


Additional options

Under the updated policies currently in place, you have the following options:

· Cancel your reservation in exchange for full credit (with no change fee), as noted above.

· If your reservation check-in date is 30 or more days from today, cancel for a refund minus a booking fee of $175 and associated taxes in accordance with our standard cancellation policy.

· Reservations made on a third-party site (such as Airbnb or Vrbo) may be subject to that channel’s terms and conditions if they differ from M Vacation Properties and Resorts,  Please check the site where you originally booked your trip.
